અમેતો સૂઇ લીધુ રાત આખી શાંત નિદ્રામા,
નડી તમને એ વાતો જે તમે રાખી હતી મોઘમ.

જીવનના અંતે સમજાયુ મને કે સત્યે છે એકજ.
,
સુખી એ હોયછે , રાખે છે જે દિલમા અપેક્ષા કમ,

આપંક્તિઓ બહુજ હ્રુદયને સ્પર્શી ગઇ. આખી ગઝલનુ કેન્દ્ર મને એજ લાગ્યુ.

અમે તો સૂઈ લીધું રાત આખી શાંત નિદ્રામાં,
નડી તમને એ વાતો જે તમે રાખી હતી મોઘમ.

જીવનના અંતે સમજાયું મને કે સત્ય છે એક જ,
સુખી એ હોય છે, રાખે છે જે દિલમાં અપેક્ષા કમ.

અમે તો ખુદ સહન કીધું છે, એણે માત્ર જોયું છે,
વિચારો, શું થઈશ હું, થઈ ગયો સિદ્ધાર્થ જો ગૌતમ !…

વાહ…..
કહ્યું આપે, ગયા છો હાથ ખાલી લઈ જીવનમાંથી,
મેં ખોલ્યું છાપું તો કોરા બધા પાનાં, બધી કોલમ.

પ્રિય સુરેશભાઈ.

પોતાની કવિતાનું રસ-દર્શન કરાવવું કદાચિત સૌથી અઘરૂં કામ છે.

કહ્યું આપે, ગયા છો હાથ ખાલી લઈ જીવનમાંથી,
મેં ખોલ્યું છાપું તો કોરા બધા પાનાં,બધી કોલમ.

-મારે આ શેર વિશે ટૂંકાણમાં કંઈ કહેવું હોય તો આમ કહી શકું: પ્રિયજન કદાચ જીવનમાંથી કશું લીધા વિના જ કવચિત ચાલ્યું જાય છે પણ જ્યારે સૂક્ષ્મ અર્થમાં જોઈએ તો જ જાણ થાય કે હકીકતમાં તો હવે જીવનમાં કંઈ જ રહ્યું નથી… જીવનનું છાપું જ્યારે પ્રિય વ્યક્તિનો ખાલીપો અનુભવે છે ત્યારે માંહ્ય કાંઈ જ રહેતું નથી. જીવનમાં માત્ર છાપાના પાનાંની એકવિધતા જ નથી હોતી, વિવિધરંગી કોલમોની નવીનતા પણ હોય છે… કોઈ ચાલ્યું જાય ત્યારે જીવનનો માત્ર રસ જ નહીં, નીરસતા પણ જાને વહી નીકળે છે… રહે છે માત્ર કોરું છાપું!
