યાદ
‘વૈશાલી’ના માધ્યમથી મેં અલગ-અલગ પ્રકારના કવિઓની પત્નીઓ એમના પતિદેવો વિશે શું વિચારતી હશે એ વિચારવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો છે… ‘
તેમા આ પંક્તીઓ
‘કવિતામાં તારું તું જીવન વિતાવે,
મને એમાં કે એને મુજમાં જીવાડે ?
દુઃખી થાઉં તો મારા દિલને હું બાળું,
તને દુઃખ પડે તો તું કાગળને બાળે.’
તો ગમી ગયેલી
આજે
તારા સાગરની બે બુંદો,
તારા ઘરનો એક જ ખૂણો
એક જ કાનો ‘તારા’માંનો,
. થાવું છે મારે. ગમી
રમુજમાં વિચાર આવ્યો વિવેકના કાનાની ઘટ વૈશાલીના કાના થી પૂરવા જઈએ વિવેકા-વૈશલી-
તો બન્નેના નામનો અર્થ ન રહે તેના કરતા ઉમાશંકર જેમ વૈશાલીવિવેક રાખીએ તો કાનો પણ મળે અને આ ભજન જેમ…
ઉમા અને શંકર એક સાચે, તે એકતામાં નિત ભક્ત રાચે.
જે ભેદભાવે તમને નિહાળે, તે વારિ જાચે ઘટકૂપ કાચે!
