Congratulations on this auspicious event and best wishes for many more such accolades to come. You and your website have created a tidal wave of Gujarati poetry! You also have a unique angle to position your poems. The last four lines of your Kumar poem are absolutely elegant! Your example of arrow can be interpreted in terms of parents sending their loving kids far away for education so they can have a better future! Last two lines reminded me of Kabir’s poem Zini chadaria ! I wish you healthy, happy and productive years ahead. I will be visiting Mumbai, Baroda, Surat, Kapadwanj and Ahmedabad in Oct and Nov 2007 and would love to meet you and other friends in Surat.

ek sher yaad nathi avto paN ema Vishwas hoyto dishao paltai javani vaat chhe.
5TH SHER..Having arms in hand is not enough, one should use it. very nicely said..Hukam no ekko GhaNivar loko evo sambhaLine rakhe ke baji hari jaay ane ekko hathma rahi jaay !!

વિવેક, સ્વપ્ન સાચુ પડ્યું તે બદલ ધન્યવાદ.
ભલા,આ નાની સીધ્ધિમાં મંઝીલ આવી ગઈ માનીશ નહીં.
હજુ તો બહુ ઉંચે જાવું છે
શ્વાસે વણીને શબ્દ રચી સાદડી છ ફૂટ
તૂટ્યો જો તાર શબ્દનો તો પ્રાણ પણ નથી.
સર્વ શક્તિમાન, તારો શબ્દનો તાર તુટવા ન દે
સર્વ શક્તિમાન, તારો શબ્દનો તાર તુટવા ન દે
સર્વ શક્તિમાન, તારો શબ્દનો તાર તુટવા ન દે

તુજમાઁ હુઁ સરથી પગ સુધી રમમાણ નથી.
ઊડે કેટલો ગયો તે જાણ પણ નથી.

પણ અમને છે!તૂ રમમાણ પણ છે.
અને તળિયા સુધી પહોંચ્યો છે.
આવી ઊભો છુ યુધ્ધમાઁ વિશ્વાસ લઈને ફક્ત
બખ્તર નથી શરીરે શિરસ્ત્રાણ પણ નથી.

વિશ્વાસ -પુરતો છે.આ યુધ્ધમાઁ બખ્તર
અને શિરસ્ત્રાણ વગર ચાલશે.
મળતાની સાથે માર્ગ તેઁ બદલ્યો.મને તો એમ-
સઘળુઁ પતી ગયુઁ. હવે ખેઁચાણ પણ નથી.

ખેઁચાણ છે.એટલે તો આવા રીસામણા હોય!
જ્યાઁ મુક્યુઁ સર ખભે કે ગ્રહિ વાત દિલની લે.
નથી સગપણમાઁ ક્યાઁક એટલુઁ ઉઁડાણ પણ નથી.

દિલ-આનાથી વધારે કેવું સગપણ જોઈએ?
હો લાખ પ્યારુઁ પણ યદી છોડો ન હાથથી
તો વિઁધે લક્ષ્ય એવુઁ કોઇ બાણ પણ નથી

બાણ છોડો ન હાથથી-છોડો નયનથી
તો વિઁધે લક્ષ્ય!
શ્વાસે વણીને શબ્દ રચી સાદડી છ ફૂટ
તૂટ્યો જો તાર શબ્દનો તો પ્રાણ પણ નથી.

મૌનથી કામ સરસ થશે—
પણ નથી,પણ નથી,પણ નથી છોડો-
તેની જરુર પણ નથી

અભિનંદન વિવેકભાઈ,

આમ અમસ્તા એક દિવસ વેબ સાઈટ પર સર્ફિંગ કરતા તમારો બ્લોગ મળી ગયો.સાચું કહું તો મને મનગમતું સાહિત્ય વાંચવાનું એક સ્થળ મળી ગયું!ખરેખર તમે અને ધવલભાઈએ બ્લોગ તૈયાર કરવામાં જે મહેનત કરી છે તેને દાદ આપવી પડે.ઘણા દિવસથી વિચારતો હતો કે ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય વિશે કોઈ બ્લોગ કે વેબસાઈટ હશે કે કેમ? વિચારને અજમાવવા માટે વેબ પર સર્ચ કરતા આપનો બ્લોગ દેખાયો અને આનંદ થયો.
