ખીલી ને સોળે કળા એ ઝળહળે છે ચાંદની,
કંઈ ને કંઈ બહાનું કરી તુજને અડે છે ચાંદની.
વગડામાં નક્કી તું થઈ ને વાટ પથરાઈ હશે,
એટલે તો ચોતરફ આ ટમટમે છે ચાંદની.
ચંઢ્રનાં અરમાન વેરાયાં હશે શું સૃષ્ટિ માં?
ફોજ તારાઓની લઈને નીકળે છે ચાંદની.
છે ઊછીનું તેજ તોયે ઠારતું, ના બાળતું,
લેણ-દેણી ની રસમ ગર્વિત કરે છે ચાંદની.
આ અમાવસ બારમાસી થઈ મને પીડી રહી,
ચાંદ સમ તું ગઈ એ દિ’ થી ક્યાં ઊગે છે ચાંદની ?!
શ્વાસ માં મુજ તેજ નો લય થઈ ગઝલ રેલાય છે,
જ્યારે-જ્યારે શબ્દ ને મારાં અડે છે ચાંદની.
